The last thing we signed up for was to ride elephants before we left Thailand. Chris and I had rode them before, but it was a first for Tiffany and the kids. Tilly and I rode a 30 year old elephant and Tiffany, Chris and Levi rode another. The elephants took us on a muddy path through the woods, past a baby (9 year old elephants are still considered babies!), and into a river for a drink. Everyone was enjoying themselves until the elephants unexpectedly sprayed us in the river! Luckily, our cameras were put away and we dried off quickly.

Tiffany got a pic of the muddy path the elephants were following. Tilly and I are on the elephant ahead of them, and I was holding on too tight to lean over to get a pic of the trail.

After the ride we got to feed the elephants bananas and coconuts. It is so amazing how functional those trunks are.

That night we took a taxi to Ao Nang Beach to have dinner and walk through the shops. More seafood for Tiffany and thai for Chris and I, while the kids stuck with pizza. Gotta love the variety! (not in the kids choices, but in the menu options).

We were so sad to leave Thailand, but had to head back to KL for Bubba's school holiday party. The flight home was uneventful, and just as empty as our flight to Krabi - Look at how few people were on our plane!
